The concert will feature a selection of works by Studio Ghibli, including score from films such as My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke and Howl’s Moving Castle. This is in addition to other works of film music. Hisaishi recently released a new album, the reorchestrated Dream Songs: The Essential Joe Hisaishi. 

This composer is well known as being a multiple Japanese Academy Prize winner for Best Music as well as the long standing working relationship with famous director Hayao Miyazaki that has led to the scores to some of the most beloved animated films of all time. 

Radio City Music Hall Information

The legendary Radio City Music Hall at 1260 Avenue of the Americas (Corner of Avenue of the Americas and W 51st St / W 48th St). 

Radio City is decorated with an elegant and monumental décor and in addition to providing a first class musical experience, the seats are upholstered for maximum comfort of all visitors. The largest auditorium (The Main Hall) can hold up to 6,000 spectators, seated on the orchestra level as well as on the second level and on the three upper levels. In order to provide all visitors with refreshments prior to the concert as well as during the intermission there are concession stands located throughout the venue.
