\JUST IN! The Grammy Award-winning & record-breaking singer-songwriter, and rapper — SHABOOZEY is taking his unique country tunes for a live spin, in support of his upcoming concept album “The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales” out this summer. With a slew of tour dates across North America, the man is down to get the energy up and running as he unleashes his biggest hits, crowd favorites, and immerses his fans into the tales of Cherie Lee with that Wild West energy. It’s the OUTLAWS NEVER DIE TOUR, coming to bring the Wild West to your city.
Shaboozey’s new concept album is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026. Billed as a theatrical revenge story, the record centers around the tales of Cherie Lee — one who seeks vengeance for her sheriff father’s murder by the Bootcut Boys. Later on, she finds herself drawing feelings to one of the outlaws… and as you’d expect, leads to disastrous events. With the album’s lead single “Born to Die” out now, Shaboozey gave us a taste of the cinematic energy he’s been teasing about the record. With deep & reflective messages along the lines of “living life like we ain't born to die,” it serves classic outlaw energy with a touch on the price of revenge.
“It explores so many themes, as many timeless westerns have: revenge, redemption, and romance, through the eyes of a protagonist looking to challenge everything she once thought true about her world,” the singer shared in an official release. “I poured all of myself into this and I hope people become as immersed in the world and the journey as I have.”
Taking his storytelling abilities and creativity to new heights, it’s an important album for the rising star whose song “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” shot his career right up. While he isn’t chasing numbers, it’s all about pouring his heart out in every single one of his creations.
While Collins Obinna Chibueze’s career began in 2014, he started gaining international attention through his work on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter (2024). Upon the release of his 2024 album “Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going,” Shaboozey marked his commercial breakthrough with his smash hit single “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” Spending a whopping 19 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, he matched Lil Nas X’s record as the then-longest running Hot 100 number one song of all time, “Old Town Road.”
Making history and accumulating billions of streams, he’s one of the biggest names in music today — especially as a legend whose mix of country and hip hop hits so hard.
