New Yoooork, New York! It seems like every other DAY we get a new transplant coming in from the West End of LDN all the way over here to the Lower East Side - BUT, this time around, we’ll allow it… for the plot of course. Decked out with a whole new album and her FIRST tour in almost seven years… you’ll want to make sure you’re here to hear it all when she takes the stage - Lily Allen is hopping over to play!
LILY ALLEN - our British babe who loves all things that make us Smile and angel number Ghost Stories - is touching down in the States for an oh so exclusive tour run making its way from Toronto to L.A.! And let’s not forget - right here in New York City for an awesome day this April, a concert for me you and the crew!
Tickets are on sale NOW and starting at $281 for the April 14th show that’s gonna have us saying It’s Not Me, It’s You to all our friends who conveniently forget to cop passes for this one. Don’t be them - we can’t wait to see you!
OH MY GOD, NEW YORK CITY: Y’ALL READY TO GET A LITTLE LOUD, A LITTLE MESSY, AND A LOTTTT MORE BRITISH?! Because it’s US, your favs at Radio City Music Hall, rolling out the red carpet, cueing the spotlight and out spots in line, and cracking open our diaries for one night only as we welcome the ICON, the ORIGINAL INTERNET POP PRINCESS from the posh peeps across the pond, the WEST LONDON WORDSMITH HERSELF: LILY. ALLEN. Pulling up here in the middle of the city on Tuesday, April 14th, you’re gonna want to do a few things in prep for this one folks: grab your besties, and get ready to scream-sing every line like we’re all back on your bedroom floor circa 2008 style singing YouTube cover hits and typing dramatic Myspace bulletins. We want “Smile,” we want “LDN,” we want “Not Fair,” we want every last tea time lyric from Lily’s never before heard project West End Girl echoing through the Great Hall. We’re here for petty anthems, break-up epics, the songs your older sister tried to hide from you, and the ones that raised an entire generation - AKA us. New York…do you REALLY know Lily? Name her top 5 songs then…we’ll wait!
So, if you couldn’t name five of her top songs you are now automatically required to read this write up we made about her for you - we don’t make the rules! Lily Allen, born in London and making music since the early 2000s, is the chart-topping, culture-shifting powerhouse who kicked the door down in 2006 with her Alright, Still album: a record that sounded like ska, pop, gossip, heartbreak, and London pavement on our face all hitting at the same time. “Smile” went #1, “LDN” became EVERYONE’S personality trait and made us want to move to Hammersmith, and suddenly Lily was the girl who said the quiet parts out loud - and that’s why we love her to be completely honest. Then came It’s Not Me, It’s You — and boom: “The Fear,” “Not Fair”, political pop with a grin, and a BRIT Award to match. Through four albums, motherhood, novels, acting in the West End, and a whole lot of life lived very publicly, Lily never stopped writing like she’s sending one last voice note before blocking someone. And now, with West End Girl, she’s BACK on tour for the first time since 2019, taking her diary to the main stage and letting us all in. And lucky for us -we got a spot in one of her only tour stops of the entire year. When she’s gone she’s gone, so, don’t be missing this one.
So NYC…ARE YOU READY?! Are you ready to laugh, cry, scream, gasp, throw your hands up, and dance like you’re 19 again? GOOD - because we absolutely are too. One night only with the legend and to sing-a-long to all her tunes, let’s do this! We’ll see you soon.
