In honor of iconic guitarist & singer Buddy Guy's 90th birthday on Thursday, October 1, 2026, the legendary performer will celebrate at New York's historic Radio City Music Hall. Performing that night will be a host of blues legends, including guitar greats Eric Clapton, John Mayer, Susan Tedeschi & Derek Trucks, Jon Batiste, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr., Billy F. Gibbons and many more talented musicians.
Buddy Guy is celebrated for songs like "Damn Right I've Got the Blues" for which he received a Grammy for Best Traditional Blues Album in 1992, and his latest release "The Blues don't Lie." Join Buddy Guy and this massive array of other incredible musicians at a once in a lifetime concert performed at the magnificent venue of Radio City Music Hall in New York.
The show will go down at 7:30 pm. Tickets for the event start at $320 and gates open at 6:30 pm for the one night only event at Radio City Music Hall honoring this Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee.

Gibbons, Ivan Neville, Robert Randolph, Bobby Rush, Isaiah Sharkey, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jimmie Vaughan, Ally Venable, Willie Weeks, Kim Wilson, and many more surprise guests! The concert will be musically directed by the legendary Steve Jordan, the producer behind many of Rock's greatest moments and also Buddy's latest album "The Blues Don't Lie". This is going to be a huge night of Blues with huge crowds of Blues fans from all over the world coming into New York City for this one-night-only tribute to Buddy Guy!
Buddy Guy is also known as George Guy. Buddy was born in 1936 in the United States. At 90 years young he is recognized worldwide as one of the leading exponents of the blues. The songs "Damn Right I've Got the Blues", "Sweet Home Chicago", "First Time I Met the Blues" and many more are sung by Guy with extreme passion and soul. His latest release "The Blues don't Lie" is an absolute Buddy Guy production. Buddy has been taught by the best in the business, by the likes of Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf.
A highly influential musician around the world, Eric Clapton brings the credibility to perform at a tribute of his idol Buddy Guy. He has the biggest collection of the most beloved songs in the world: "Layla," "Tears in Heaven," "Sunshine of Your Love," "Change the World" and many more. His last release "Meanwhile" is just another style extension of the incredible legendary musician. As a solo artist and as a part of several groups, Eric Clapton is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The singer-songwriter and guitarist John Mayer, will be playing his greatest hits, such as "Your Body Is a Wonderland," "Gravity," "Daughters," and "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room." His studio album "Sob Rock" was released in 2021 and clearly showcased the singer-songwriter's ability to create music that clearly falls within the realm of the blues. In the past, the singer-songwriter has been awarded with a number of Grammys including Song of the Year and Album of the Year.
Radio City Music Hall is located at 1260 6th Avenue, New York, NY 10020 in the heart of Rockefeller Center, 6 acre site in the middle of Manhattan that is home to many of NBC's TV and radio studios. The venue was built in 1932 for the premiere of the film "Stage Door" and is the largest enclosed theater in the world, containing over 5,960 plush, redish-brown seats spread over the Orchestra and three mezzanine levels. Every seat in the theater is accessible.
There are also many food and beverage choices including the classic NYC hot dogs, chicken fingers, quesadillas and specialty coffee drinks as well as a number of gluten-free and vegan choices. The venue is cashless and will have merchandise for sale at the event. There are several access points to the theater including two on 50th and 51st Streets between 5th and 6th Avenues as well as the Box Office located in the venue's main Lobby. The SP+ Garage is located at 140 W. 51st St. and there are several garages in Rockefeller Center including 48th St. between 5th & 6th Ave, 31 W. 52nd St. and the 51st St. Garage at 140 W. 51st St. There are also several Valet locations. Also there are many parking garages and lots throughout the New York area that you could park at to start your night off right. You can also search for parking on websites such as SpotHero.
