Following the journey of French peasant Jean Valjean from despair to redemption, Victor Hugo's iconic 1862 novel inspired writers Alain Boublil, Claude-Michel Schönberg, and Jean-Marc Natel to create a theatrical masterpiece imbued with tenderness and warmth. Now celebrating 40 years, Cameron Mackintosh's LES MISÉRABLES: The Arena Concert Spectacular brings the beloved musical to North America for the first time in this stunning concert format. With a cast and orchestra of over 65 performers, this limited 3-week engagement features Gerónimo Rauch, Alfie Boe, and Killian Donnelly alternating as Jean Valjean, Jeremy Secomb and Bradley Jaden alternating as Javert, Samantha Barks (who starred in the Les Misérables film adaptation) as Fantine, and Matt Lucas as Thénardier.
