About Jason Isbell

Back in March, Isbell dropped his first solo album in about a decade, "Foxes in the Snow". Featuring the iconic title track alongside fan-favorites "Burry Me", "Wind Behind the Rain", and "Good While It Lasted", it's an album that shares the folk energies that define Isbell's music. The record follows his 2023 album "Weathervanes" with his band, The 400 Unit. Since then, he's been performing nonstop shows, solidifying his reputation as an astounding performer in the folk-rock sphere. His last record's set of singles - "Deathwish", "Cast Iron Skillet", and "Save the World" took over airwaves, and made every single night on the road one to remember.

At this residency, get ready for a setlist that packs his very best, newer music, and bits of surprises here and there. As always, every single time he heads up that stage with his trustee guitar, fans are teleported to his sonic world. If this is your first Isbell concert, you're surely in for a beautiful ride through his folk-bangin' tunes.

When he parted ways with his former band, the Drive-by Truckers, Jason rocked it out with his solo career, finding massive success with his new records and eventually kicking off a new journey with The 400 Unit. With his new band, Isbell soared to new heights and reached millions of new fans around the world.

Talking about "Weathervanes", "There is something about boundaries on this record... As you mature, you still attempt to keep the ability to love somebody fully and completely while you’re growing into an adult and learning how to love yourself."

His entire career can be summed up into one word: Growth. Across his discography, his emotional, honest, and sincere songs have touched the hearts of his fans. In a conversation with Flagpole Magazine, the man credits his roots as something that made him the musician he is today.

"The soul music that came out of there, and a lot of the soul-influenced rock and roll and country music that came out of the studios in north Alabama in the 1960s and 1970s had a big influence on me."
