Laufey is back on the road. Her new album "Bewitched" is sharing the bewitching magic of jazz music around the globe at The Goddess Tour. Her new trek supports her critically-acclaimed sophomore LP. As one of her career's biggest milestones, she's excited to meet all of her fans, live on stage. Her North American leg of the tour completely sold out, and its European leg is selling fast as well. Announcing a roster of new tour dates, North American fans are in luck!

The new album was released last September 8, met with incredible acclaim and success for her pop-jazz melodic tales. It peaked at #3 on Icelandic charts, #23 on the US Billboard 200, and hit the top spot on the US Jazz chart. On the record, Laufey highlights her desire to make more listeners welcome jazz music with open arms. She isn't shoving jazz down your throats, she's casting her unique sonic spells, and we're sold!

Her debut album "Everything I Know About Love" shared her pop and jazz influences. Although, Laufey recalls that it was her jazz-centered tracks that got the most attention. In Bewitched, she jumped head-on, creating jazz masterpieces, hoping that the world would turn to welcome jazz in the modern day. "Even though I'm writing songs that sometimes sound like old jazz standards, the lyrics are very modern; they're my personal experiences from this day and age. I think that relatability is what connects young listeners," she told Grammy in an interview.

In an era dominated by Gen-Z and TikTok-savvy audiences, Laufey wasn't afraid to lose her young audience. "I think Gen Z is a generation of really, really open-minded individuals, especially when it comes to music," she shared. "I've found that friends and kids this age will listen to anything, really, as long as they can find some sort of line of relatability. That's what they care about,"

It's about reliability. Beyond what's trendy or not, it's reliability that dictates success. Now, not only is she sharing her personal and relatable stories, but she's also introducing young people to a new genre in an effective way. She isn't alienating anyone - she's inviting everyone to give jazz a chance.

Bewitched won Laufey's first-ever Grammy Award nomination, for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. She's on the road to bring jazz back to the mainstream, as exclaimed by critics. Billboard even shares that she might have just created Jazz's blueprint for success in this modern day.
